Tree Removal in Harrogate and Surrounding area
All trees are removed to standard BS3998 and to local council specifications regarding Tree Protection Orders TPO’s and whether the tree is in a Conservation Area. In most cases all trees will be dismantled unless we have at least 2 1/2 times tree height in distance clear around the tree in order that a felling operation can be completed.
Again in most cases dismantling will be completed by a trained operative using an elevated platform. All heavy timber and sections of trees are roped and lowered and in some cases assisted utilising several winching methods, either vehicular mounted or ground anchored capstan winches. In extreme cases we will utilise the use of overhead cranes where very large sections of trees with excessive weights are involved.
All timber with a diameter of 250mm (10” or less) will be chipped and removed unless otherwise specified. All remaining timber will be removed from site; Aspect Forestry does currently hold a licence from the Environment Agency for the removal of waste. This is current law for the control and management of waste.
